This remarkable Isua Stone split pair from Greenland reveals a dramatic internal pattern of deep black and charcoal-grey bands across two complementary polished faces. Subtle silver-toned details and natural variations create depth within the otherwise dark, architectural composition.

The matching halves were cut from the same specimen and polished on their display faces, allowing the continuous geological pattern to be viewed side by side. Their rough outer surfaces and natural edges have been retained, creating a striking contrast between the smooth interiors and rugged exterior.

Isua Stone originates from Greenland’s ancient Isua geological region, renowned for rock formations dating back approximately 3.7–3.8 billion years. This extraordinary geological heritage gives the pair a powerful sense of age and makes it a distinctive addition to an important geological collection or curated interior.
